Summer Night

Summer nights and children seem to be made for each other! Campfires, fireflies and stars. Visit an observatory. Borrow some binoculars for stargazing. Or plan to watch the Perseid Meteor Shower between July 17th and August 26th, 2021 -- there should be around 50 to 75 meteors per hour on the peak night of August 11th.  Look for a location away from urban lights, dress appropriately, and carry water and a snack.
