Summer Fun: Being
I have a younger friend whose first camping trip was during a college spring break in Minnesota -- not quite the same as a summer camping trip!
Just being while camping implies a much slower way of experiencing the day and night and, at the same time, exploring so many different and unusual activities out in the woods. Even camping in the backyard, with s'mores and stories around a firepit, and waking up to neighborhood sounds is a great part of summer being for children. Magriet Ruurs & Andrew Kiss
