Picture book, 32 pages. Published by Compendium Publishing and Communications in 2018.

Recap & Review

Tiny, Perfect Things is a lovely picture book about observing - and being thankful for - all the creatures, leaves and plants, as well as little found things on a walk through the neighborhood. The relationship between the grandfather and child is sweet without being sentimental.

Parents' Simplicity Credo
Wonder at the magnificence around us

Reading Suggestions

The narrative in the book is poetry filled with the images and rhythms perfect for bedtime reading.  There is a double page fold-out of the child's "world full of wonders" which deserves ample time for you and your child to investigate. Tiny, Perfect Things is also a wonder-filled book for a Grandparent to share with a child after a long day of their own gentle adventures.

Teaching our children to see the beauty and wonder just outside our doors and to express gratitude for what we see is a first step toward a simple, contented life.
