Worthy of Our Children's Attention

Courageous, passionate, forgiving, joyous, resilient -- Angelou is the epitome of these character traits. Our children need to develop these attributes in order to successfully navigate the obstacles life will place along their paths.

Angelou is a heroine who is worthy of our children's attention!

Maya's Words

There are many, many books about Angelou, but reading her words is the best way for children to become familiar with Maya:
  • Life Doesn't Frighten Me
  • My Painted House, My Friendly Chicken and Me

You can also watch and hear Angelou at Caged Bird Legacy.
