Nonna's Recipe for Cultivating Wonder
Ideas for Making It Real
Singing along to Rudolph, The Red-Noses Reindeer is a wonderful way to introduce this book to younger children. You could also make an Olive tree ornament with salt dough, a dog cookie cutter, some twine or string, and either food coloring or acrylic paint to finish off the project. One salt dough recipe is almost always as good as another, but the directions at Yummy Toddler Food are pretty clear. And This Mess is Ours has a good gluten free version for little hands that are sensitive to gluten.
