Most people like thinking good thoughts about others.

Most people smile when they see a baby.

Most people glow when they hear or say "I love you."

Most people know that most people are very good."

Learning Options

Family Read Aloud Time
The concise up-beat text accompanied by the genuinely cheerful illustrations make this a great breakfast read aloud. Seriously. What a wonderful way to start the day with a reminder that most people are kind and helpful.

Classroom Resource
An excellent classroom resource, Most People illustrates an urban neighborhood in all it's complexities and diversities. Learning to Give has a lovely lesson, Our Neighborhood as Community. Most People is a good supplement to this lesson.

Learning at Home
A solid moral identity is critical for developing and practicing empathy. Most People is excellent for nurturing this identity - everyone can be kind, good and helpful. If you teach character through literature, then consider adding this book to your lessons for younger children.
