Summer Nights
The moon in summer is as wonderful as summer stars - children are fascinated by both. But no human has walked on the moon since the Apollo 17 Lunar Landing in 1972. Who will be next? And who will help her get there?
NASA has many wonderful resources for children, but I am particularly taken with their directions on how to Build a Moon Habitat in your backyard. If you have a diehard fan of all things moon related, then this is the summer project for you! Dean Robbins and Lucy Knisley
