Picture
Picture book, 32 pages. Story of a little girl and her duck. Published by Chronicle Books in 2017.

Recap & Review

This is a delightful story of a little girl raising a duckling and the "hard work" of loving. It's a perfect book for little ones during the Valentine season. It's easy to fall in love with a new pet, but continuing to love is a bit more challenging.  Love is shows kiddos the rewards of sticking with the work part of loving!

Diane Adams

Adams is a Professor of Children's Literature at the University of Southern California, as well as the author of numerous children's books. Love is has been translated into six languages and is the story of her own childhood pet ducklings.

Claire Keane

Keane is the visual development artist for Tangled, Frozen, and Enchanted. She directed the film Allies in War Partners in Peace is an installation at the Smithsonian National Museum of the American Indian.
