Loving Others is Contagious!

Okay, so every time I read this book I get teary-eyed. Yep, every single time. The power of one simple act of kindness can be overwhelmingly inspirational even in a picture book!

Vanessa, walking home from her first day of school, is bullied by a boy. One girl witnesses the unkindness and becomes Vanessa's ally by walking hand-in-hand to school with her the next morning. By the time they get to school, the whole neighborhood of children are walking with Vanessa! Loving people is contagious!

I Walk with Vanessa is anADL Book-of-the-Month with an amazing number of resources parents and teachers can use. Start a conversation with your kiddos using the ADL's 6 Ways to Be an Ally is available in English and en Español.
