How Far Do You Love Me?

2/8/2022

Picture
Picture book, 32 pages. A journey across the seven continents of the world describing how far a parent loves a child. Published by Lee & Lowe in 2021.

Recap & Review

How Far Do You Love Me is based on a bedtime game Delacre played with her daughters. Each expression of love is accompanied by a beautifully illustrated scene from different locations around the world.

This title is quickly becoming a new favorite - the more often I read it, the more it sings to my Nonna's heart.

Lulu Delacre

A bilingual author and illustrator, Delacre has won several Pura Belpré Award Honors and an Orbis Pictus Honor.
"I believe that we Latinos bring richness and beauty to the American fabric. I’m passionate about creating books that empower Latinx children by instilling pride in their heritage. I strive for these books to expand the horizons of those unfamiliar with Latino culture and in doing so, foster understanding."
