PARENT'S SIMPLICITY CREDO Reading Suggestions
Again, learning to be who we are is one of the primary goals of childhood and it's difficult when we don't fit well with the other children around us. Especially if their curiosity about our differences are mean-spirited. Chocolate Me! is a perfect story to read aloud alongside Red, A Crayon's Story - both books heal those kiddos who feel they don't fit and teach those kiddos who need encouragement to admire others' differences kindly.
