Janet S. Wong & Margaret Chodos-Irvine

Wong is a children's poet who uses a variety of poetic styles to explore her own cultural heritage in everyday life. Her children's picture books  are sensitive looks at a child's understanding of racial and national identities.

Chodos-Irvine studied to be a professional dancer, but found she enjoyed drawing dancers more. She illustrates children's books, as well as creating cover photos for authors such as LeGuin.
