Joyful Moments of Holiday Chaos
I am a firm believer that an excellent children's book is enjoyable by adults. And if you enjoy a good chuckle or laugh, then Fallon's holiday picture book is for you AND for your kiddo. Children take their cues from us -- when we laugh they will take note and look for why this book has Mom or Dad chuckling. The rhyming text is true to Fallon's humor - just a bit over the top for me - which is obviously a big hit. But the joyful illustrations of moments of holiday chaos bring out my smiles - really, who hasn't had a pet eat too many candy canes or play with the decorations?!
Life is an adventure and learning to navigate the wait for a special holiday is essential for any good traveler! And it's a life-habit which is useful along the whole journey. Nonna's Recipe for Cultivating Wonder Ideas for Making it Real
As parents, we know the how excited our kiddos can get the closer we get to Christmas Day and how convinced they are that they simply will not be able to fall asleep. Save this book to read the five nights before the big one - and then listen to your little one explain to you why they are so excited they cannot sleep!
